Fellow of the American Institute of Architects (FAIA) is awarded to architect members of the American Institute of Architects who has made a significant contribution to architecture and society on a national or an international level.
AIA Los Angeles has a dedicated Fellows Nominating & Mentoring Committee. They help identify, nominate, and assist candidates with the lengthy application process.
This prestigious distinction is given to approximately 3 percent of the AIA’s 88,000 members.
Architects Gregory Ain, Paul R. Williams, Pierre Koenig, Raphael Soriano, Thornton Abell, Ray Kappe, and Buff and Hensman are among the few recognized as fellows by the AIA.
