Designed by Eugene Kinn Choy, this quintessential mid-century has been thoughtfully restored, honoring the architect’s original intent.
Choy was the first Chinese-American architect in California to join the American Institute of Architects. At the helm of Choy Associates, he designed many of Chinatown’s commercial and public structures, including Cathay Bank, which is applauded for merging New Formalism with traditional Chinese decorative elements.
